Post by: on May 16, 2006, 12:32:16 PM
Few days ago I get A600 but I have anything for my baby. Missing Workbench. Is there some way to download it from web on a PC and convert it for amiga fdd format???

No.  With no software at all of the Amiga, it is impossible since a PC or Mac can't read or write Amiga disks.

Only if you bought a Catweasel card for your PC, then you could create an Amiga disk.

Buy them on Ebay !
Buy a kickstart 1.3 and a kickstart switch to enjoy much more games easily (and keep the PCMCIA avaible for fast transfert).

Hello:

As I have found out.  This is a quandry that I am facing as well.  I have decided to buy a catweasel, but I plan to in the interim get one of my friends with an A2000 to convert my ADFs from a CD to the floppy on his box -- Still will need the catweasel in the future, but that is one way I think to get the job done.

I may buy an A2000 myself, that would eliminate the need for the catweasel and costs about the same ta boot ;-)
