Hello,
I'm wondering if anybody knows of a source of public domain complete sets of action figure sprites.
I'm after things like characters fighting, ducking, jumping, walking, etc.
Something that's suitable for games.
Thankyou.

I'll just wait a little more, then.

You might find something of use here: http://www.molotov.nu/?page=graphics

Just to be clear.
You're looking for DATA, or IMAGES to be used, apparently in Sprites. Or maybe as Blitter Objects (BOBs).
Sprites are hardware constructs. Period.
Just keeping it real.

Spritelib might suite you.

It's GPL.
Additionally, I'd check out Gamedev.net
They always have artists showing off their stuff.

@boing
Then what are VSprites? :-P
They may be virtual, but still a type of sprite (according to RKMs anyway).
-
You're both wrong.
Sprite is a refreshing soft drink with a crisp lemony tang.
-
You mean it's not a type of goblin????
-
I will endeavor to make a sprite of a sprite drinking sprite.
I'll post it soon.

@InTheSand & GreggBz
Thankyou alot! They are exactly the sort of resources I'm after.
@boing
That's good. You're VERY right. Good for you. :-)
