Title: CD-Rom Driver
Post by: Edpon on May 11, 2006, 11:48:40 PM
Hi all,
I need to get a driver for my cd-rom in my A4000, however, they seem to only come on the Mediator CD or online, which I can't do with this A4000. So the question becomes; How do I get a driver for the cd-rom? If someone has it already on a DD floppy, I'll pay to have it shipped to me. Thanks.

we are talking about an ide or scsi cd? i think that you only need a cd file system like amicdfs (http://it.aminet.net/disk/cdrom/amicdfs240.lha) but depends and on your hardware.

It's an IDE controlled CD-ROM.

Do you have a PC?  You can write IDEFix on a DD PC formatted floppy and read in on your Amiga.  (Actually, are you sure you don't have a HD floppy even?)
