Post by: orange on May 11, 2006, 07:48:13 PM
Is there a single program that can decrunch all executable crunchers such as powerpacker, imploder, defjam .. etc?

but surely there must be one, VirusZ decrunches TONS of various formats, such a shame it doesn't have option for saving

edit: it seems xfdmaster.library should do it, I'll try it

Those virus programs use xadmaster or xfdmaster to decrunch resp. unarchive files. If you are a programmer, you can write a program for using these libraries yourself. IIRC thare are also command line utilites coming with the libraries.

yes, there is one program that can decrunch any file or executable in a easy and fast way
the name of the proggy is: XPKatana

get it here:

http://uk.aminet.net/util/pack/XPKatana.lha

please note that this proggy requires the xpk package installed....get it on aminet as well (xpk_user.lha)

bye, Laser

What you want is not xpk but xfd. XPK is for data file crunching/decrunching/encryption. XFD master is for just depacking of data and exe files and supports a lot of formats (Maybe 100 or so).

http://www.aminet.net/package.php?package=util/pack/xfdmaster.lha

it has a commandline too xfddecrunch with it.
