hi,
i have an old vt-220 text console terminal used to be a developer terminal at FiB-UPC university. At home i used it to be a chat / mail terminal in a debian environement... it could be usefull on amiga? i'm thinking about something to execute CLi commands from the serial terminal...
i'm wrong or somethinmg like AuxHandler (http://www.aminet.net/package.php?package=comm/misc/AuxHandler.lha) could be usefull?

Yes, the AUX-handler is just for this purpose. You could attache a serial terminal at the serial port of the Amiga and use the AUXhandler. This way you have a multiuser system :-)
The serial terminal can exexute any shell program.
It might be usefull for program testing by sending the debug output to the serial terminal.

i don't know anything about this but you gave me an idea. if this thing has a parallel port maybe this (http://aminet.net/hard/hack/PAR_READ.lha) could help somehow.
