I badly need service manual for (broken) A2000, please help me if you have it.
-
I have it, but it's a copy and it's a lot of paper! What part do you need? Schematics? (http://amiga-hardware.com/downloads/a2000_b-schem.lha)
-
Any info would be helpful. What parts are there?
The A2000 shows black screen and LED stays dim. Thanks for schematics.

I would say:
1. Remove all expansions, harddisks and floppy drives
2. Reseat all socketed chips
3. Connect an RGB (15kHz) monitor and make sure the monitor and cable is known to be working
4. Switch the A2000 on and the "Insert disk" screen should show
If it does not, swap each of the socketed chips (from an A500 for instance?) and check after each change.
I doubt that a service manual will be of much help unless you are a technician and able to trace (and repair) faults in the motherboard itself.

here (http://www.devili.iki.fi/mirrors/4x4.hopto.org/) you will find amiga tech manuals. hope they can help.

@amije
been there, they don't have service manual, but only Technical Reference Manual.
