I have an A1200 with M1230@50 32 Mb Ram, Dataflyer XDS 4Gb. I have kickstart 3.0.
I want to install OS 3.5. There is any way to preload the 3.1 kickstart into memory and then boot with OS 3.5?
OS 3.9 could be fine too.
Thanks.

Welcome to A.O.
You need to have 3.1 roms installed on your Amiga before you can use OS 3.5 or 3.9.

It's possible. You need to softkick Kickstart 3.1. If you find a tool that can softkick 3.1 on your accelerator, you're likely able to use 3.5/3.9 aswell.
Naturally this is only legal if you own the KS 3.1 ROM in the first place.

If you need the new genuine Kickstart 3.1 ROMs (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=62) we have them in stock

Vesalia http://www.vesalia.de/ have them too, at about US$10 cheaper than Amigakit too.
Man do I feel ripped off for buying from Amigakit.

@Piru
Can you explain a little more?.
btw: I have broken 3.1 kick chips.
Thanks.

There are programs called that can load a rom image file from disk and have it "pretend" to be a real rom chip in the Amiga, it`s called soft-kicking. The ones I`ve used are for Apollo and Blizzard accelerators but there are lots so just give Aminet a trawl. You`ll need a 3.1 rom image from the same model Amiga as you have (the Amiga Forever ones won`t work).
