Title: powering a1200 with a pc power supply
Post by: acottrill on May 02, 2006, 09:53:08 PM
I want to adapt an AT style pc power supply to power my 1200.  there are 5 pins on the 1200 power supply...

PIN---- NAME
1------ +5v
2------ shield ground
3------ +12v
4------ signal ground
5------ -12v

1,3,5 are self explanatory,  but I don't get 2 and 4.  is there something special about these grounds?  does anyone know what the corresponding pins on the AT PSU are?

Thanks,
AL

The above link is a good site.

If building your own cable doesn't work out we have the AT to Amiga Power cables (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=488) ready made.
