Title: Old Motorola 040 Logo
Post by: adolescent on April 29, 2006, 03:50:31 AM
Remember this one?  It was 040 with an exclamation/bang/! being the vertical line of the 4.

Anyone have a bitmap of this?  (Or, better yet a vector...)

Did Motorola ever have anything for the 060?  I remember a Dragonball logo but never saw anything for the 060 or later chips.

Yes, I remember it. Back when I got my first A1200 accelerator card, which was a 68040 (way back in 1993 or so) I saw this logo a while later and made a simple wallpaper for my then AGA only PAL workbench. I might have it some place, but it's not the proper thing.

I once saw a dual 68060 board that was from some rackmount system. The chips had a sort of italicised times type font with 060 stamped on the chip.

Or this?

That site is about some guy making a keychain from an '040 chip!

Lastly I found this picture of a little pin badge:

Pity I couldn't find anything of better quality, but it's a cool logo for sure. :-)

Yep, that's it!  I might just have to look at the Freescale site and see if they have old Motorola docs.

Thanks!
