Presumably something has been added to the CD32 kickstart ROM which allows it to boot from CD. Could those parts be extracted from the ROM image with Romsplit and then inserted in to an A1200 kickstart ROM image with Remus? You could then either BlizKick it (not very useful as you obviously need to boot from HDD or floppy to do this) or burn it to an EPROM so you can cold boot from CD.
Is this possible?

The problem would be drivers for a CD drive attached to the internal IDE of an A1200. CD32 ROM code wouldn't have a clue what to do with it, if you ask me.

Well I personally would want to boot from 1230scsi.device anyway, which is in the firmware of the SCSI controller so does not need to be in kickstart.
What device is the CD32's CD-ROM connected to?
