Hi
While searching my storage I found my old A2000 :)
But when connecting it to my only TV (Samsung Plasma) with the scart I only get a white screen nothing more (I also tried without the A2300 card).
When connecting with composite cable it shows the screen but only in black and white.
Any suggestions from the experts...
/Jimmy

Black and white output on the composite out port on the motherboard is normal. Did you not get anything out of the composite out on the 2300?
Your Samsung plasma display may not be able to sync low enough to see anything off of the RGB port, so that might be normal.
Try the 2300 again and let us know.

Ok, I now tried the A2300 composite and I get a yellow/brownish picture instead. Any more suggestinons ?

With the little toggle switch in all three positions?
-
No, only in two of the positions. In the third position there is no picture at all.

Do you have it set to transmit the right signal Pal/NTSC?
-
The switch gives computer video only in one position, video only in another and computer video overlayed on top of video in the other. This is good!
Could you put a composite signal through the genlock to see whether it is oddly coloured as well?
Good luck!

If you have an european or a japanese version of the Samsung Plasma TV, you MUST have a PERITEL (scart), this allow you to use the RGB output directly on it,
but if you have a US version ... you should think of change of country or try to install with a professionnal an european scart module ($30/$50).
It's an easy and common mod, just changing the IN/OUT card in the TV, and set it "ON" by the "Service Menu".
Then you will have the best for your Amiga !
