i have just installed a 60 gig hard drive but my present file system can only see 8 gig.
what the best and easyest to install system?
thats free, im skint after buying all the below parts

32mb ram
mediator

it is quite easy to get more than that since you run os 3.9 and the file system i find best is sfs but i know all wont agree on that.

i agree to sfs but beware the 2gb limit for boot partition.
that's not official though.

given how small the OS is on the Amiga there is really no heed to have a larger then 1gig boot partition. Mine is only 300mb with only about 100mb in use and I use OS3.5. with a 9.1 gig hard drive split into 6 partitions.
SFS is working great for me.

Dude just make your SYS: partition like 500MB and the rest as you please. (You can even be able to make it like 20GB or more partitions, not 100% sure) Use FFS from the OS 3.9 and you will be set. It is FREE!!!

sfs (http://strohmayer.org/sfs/files/SFS_1.254_68k.lha) is free too and better than ffs.
