well thats kind of what i thought. however, on this guide it was said that WHBLoad would already be there. obviously not. do you know where i can get this? and PPMore too - but not as important.

thanks

i think that ppmore is cloanto's prog so try to find it from them or somewhere in the cd or from aminet cloanto (http://aminet.net/search.php?path=biz/cloan)

-edit-
sure it's in ppaint archive

PPMore has nothing to do with PPaint.  It's basically "More" (the once popular text viewer) for PowerPacker compressed text files.  I used to always have PPatcher running in the background so that ALL powerpacked data files would decompress transparently and I wouldn't have to worry about using something like PPMore.

PPMore (not Cloanto) to read PowerPacked text

PPView (Cloanto) to show images

i know what is and what does ppmore, thanx :-) there is ppanim and ppview too. as for PPatcher i don't see the need to always running a patch that i will use once every year if so...

ok, so i dloaded SKICK345.lha and extracted that. now, all the roms are in the needed folder. but, OS 3.x still brings up the error OBJECT NOT FOUND "KICK40068.a4000". now, i do have

KICK40068.a4000.rtb
and
KICK40068.4000.pat

but what do i do? thanks

if you have bought an original ''amiga for ever'' cd/dvd the files are there. but if you don't have in mind that is ilegal to use amiga roms or amiga os without proper licence or if you don't have a real amiga.
