Title: Pro forma for reporting ebay piracy
Post by: Boot_WB on April 05, 2006, 10:24:51 AM
Rather than posting a new thread here every time someone sees a pirate product on ebay, why not have a pro-forma e-mail with all the info already in.

This could take the form of a form into which a user just enters the ebay auction number, this generates a standard message which is sent to ebay.

Simple, effective, helps the community police ebay abuse, and keeps the number of piracy posts down in the forums (fora?!?).

Next, we could electronically tag all the members so we can monitor their movements 24 hours a day.... ;-)

Ebay now has a link to click right on the auction. It's about time, but you still have to click a few more links to send the report and there's no way to put in info. You only get to put in the number, but at least it's put in for you now.
