16 A4000's!!!!!....  Why!?

There tons of people dying to have an A4000.  Spread the wealth! (and make a little money while you're at it).  I have to say, I hate it when I see people mentioning stuff like... "yah, I have an A4000, CSPPC603/060, PicassoIV... blah blah blah... sitting in my closet collecting dust because I only rarely use my A4000T, CSPPC604/060, Mediator, etc. anyway)

Some people would give anything to have some of these "dust collectors."  It's fine have more than one machine if you're using them, but if you're not using them give (or sell) them to someone who would.

Sorry to get down on you, maybe you are planning on selling all those spare systems (which would be great).  But still, I think there is a definate problem in this community with people hording equipment (which is probably why demand and COST is so ridiculously high).

@ mpiva

To do it short, Yes the plan is to sell them, so I have my “normal”  4 Amiga 4000x, the only reason I have so many right now, is I have a Scala man (friend)... and, as they are replacing the Amiga Scala with PC Scala machines...... ect ect..

I like to test the machines first, but one thing is for sure, they are stable and the power button is like new, as they only has been power On, and off again after many years, running 24/7..

But as you say “here is a definate problem in this community with people hording equipment” the same problem is buyers. Coming with total respect lees offers... example: I don't now any there wish to sell a a4000 for 75$ US ?...  Personal all my Amiga is for sale, if the price is right ;-)

So feel free to give me a offer on a A4K-D with buster11 / 030, no HD. There will be install new battery. Also with or without cabinet.   :-)

I agree with this - the amount of times its happened to me or I've heard it happen to other people - someone tries to sell something that they would rather keep, but perhaps have to grudginly get rid of it to pay the bills or placate the girlfriend. They get offered like 10$, and when they don't accept they get a load of abuse by email. I got a load of abuse from a guy called haemarrhoid one Christmas, because I was selling a Mediator and was called 'rude' for not replying (within two days) - I had gone to visit my sister in Northants FFS! I've never understood that part...

This is part of the reason that I would rather keep my Amiga stuff.
