I was installing Kickstart 3.1 in my rev 4.3 A2000 and saw some missing blue caps on the MB next to the joy/mouse ports! System works ok, what do these do and should I replace them????

Believe it or not, those are factory modifications to cure a keyboard problem with the Rev. 4 motherboards (though by the rough look of them, you'd think some amateur savaged the board). No need to replace them. There is a faq on Aminet or somewhere describing all the modifications needed to upgrade a Rev. 4 to the latest spec, Rev. 4.5 iirc. Removing those 'blue jobbies' near the keyboard connector is only one of the mods. You may be interested in reading up on this and doing the other fixes, which cure timing problems, etc.

Really!! Yeah I have a sticker on the board that says Rev 4.3, though the board says rev 4. Good to hear!!!
