Are Canadian power and connectors the same as US? Same physical type of connection? Same amount of power? 110?
I've looked at some computer equipment from Canada and I'm not sure if it works here in the US without modification.

google: world power (http://www.google.com/search?q=world+power)

Wow, thanks Piru! Great chart. I should have thought about googleing that myself. :)

Oh, one last question. Is Canada NTSC or PAL as it relates to Amiga computer equipment? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I really don't know.
-
I think Canada use the same specs as USA does so NTSC.

Thanks, I'm still learning. I've got a PAL A1200 at the house I think I need to sell then. :)

before that, try to use it with the ntsc monitor drivers. there are some cli tools too that can switch amiga from pal to ntsc and back. i don't know if this ntsc is ''real'' of course. just try.

OK, I wasn't aware of that. Are those tools or instructions on Aminet?

If you're using a monitor it should be usable as PAL. If you're using a TV you can switch the frequency, but the color will still be PAL mode (will show up as black and white).

Oh, ok. I don't have a PAL monitor. :(

Just for your info Canada uses the same power as the US although there were some older states up until about 10 years ago that still used 110-120volt systems but were at 50Hz not 60Hz. this caused internal clocks to run slow and sometimes cause problems with video and computer systems.
Now all of the US & Canada use the standard NTSC signal 110-120 volt 60Hz. So anything made in Canada will work in the US and vice-verca.
