Title: Gunne Steen to have the next bunch of A1XEs by next week!!!

Hi again guys! This is correct. At the moment, Gunne still has the Easter vacation until sunday 27th. They will open up at 28th. Gunne should then have received a mass volume of A1XEs from Eyetech as Eyetech themselves stated, which they delivered since last wednesday!

This should mean that i will get my A1G4XE the first week of May from Datakompaniet, after Gunne should have delivered them to Datakompaniet.

You can't wait to get the baby right? :-) (I wonder how many "I'll get OS4 soon" threads we'll see till it reaches Helgis tho. Any bets?  :-D )

Not to darken your or anyone else's sunny sky with clouds, but have you actually heard any official statement that Gunne has received them, or have you just drawn your own conclusions?
Dont get me wrong here, I want them as bas as anyone (ok, maybe not as bad as helgis ;-))

helgis , i dont live too far away from u ...if u wanna have a look at mine...please come and visit :)

but then again...i havent even installed linux on it...infact nothing yet...just putted in a tower and the hw stuff....will wait for os4 till it will be used....

I spoke to Eyetech last thursday, and I reckon I will be in the 2nd batch for me mobo only order (I say mobo only- there are other bits just not a ready built system...). I have now also decided not to keep phoning Eyetech, as they are working flat out as it is, and it is wasting their valuable time ;-)

If I just may be of some help in advance - THAT IS; before any who are waiting receive their A1s.

A point to note is that the internal expansion consists of TWO separate buses......

° The THREE PCI slots (togather) are for the usual 33Mhz PCI expansion cards. Both 3.3v and 3.3/5v cards can be used here.

° The FOURTH PCI slot (near to the AGP slot) is for 66Mhz 3.3v cards. This shares the bus common with the AGP slot. 5v cards should NOT be inserted here although such can be physically inserted.

To some of you who think i might make my own conclusions about Gunne. In one way this is right, but i made a realistic conclusion judging about the shipment Eyetech has done since last Wednesday, and since Gunne's still on Easter vacation until the 27th, this seem to be the most realistic conclusion that Gunne should have them by next week. This also means that i get my A1G4XE-board during the first week of May. It can't possible be more realistic than that... :-)

I am pleased for you its about time you got yours its also about time i got mine as well. os 4 cant be that much further away maybe when i get mine it will come with it . :-D
