Hello all, Just saw Syndicate for the CD32 for sale on EBay... I have Syndicate and the American Revolt Data disk already on my beloved A1200 Tower. Is the CD32 version better in any way, than the standard Amiga version? I have too few games for my CD32, and I LOVE Syndicate, would it be worth buying? ($17.00 with shipping) Does the CD32 version add anything to the original? Do the Cheats work on this version? Any ideas would be helpful.... :-)

I think it's like the disk version. No AGA graphics. Maybe all you got is a better intro sequence.
If you like Syndicate, the pc version is better, you should try it (usually the Amiga version is better :))

What ?? The Datadisk actually was released ? I only got the one level demo of the datadisk on some CU-Amiga disk and never heard of if after that. I thought it was canned ?

@ Lemmink:
Yeah, the data disk is out there, as mentioned (I have the demo ,too) You may want to try some of the {cough} Abandonware sites to find it....it took me a while to locate. Really annoying, since I had originals of Syndicate and AR, got lost during my last move :pissed:

Even the intro-sequence is the same. The only difference is that playing with a gamepad sucks ;-)

I hate to admit it, but the PC-version is indeed better: Better intro, music (even though it is FM-midi, the Amiga-version doesn't have any in-game), more colors, Super-VGA resolution...
An other game where the PC-version is better: Dune 2 :-(

Another game when the pc version is better: Bloodnet

The thread has set a dangerous precedent...
