I just redid my amithlon machine, now that my replacement drive has arrived. I never bothered before, but I decided to update the icons to ones more to my liking. So, I installed Icon Installer, but everytime I try and update the icons a window pops up telling me NOT ENOUGH MEMORY. I don't get it, 'cos it lists almost 8MB of Graphics Ram and 78MB of Fast Ram. :-?
Anyone have any ideas??

Probably because IconInstaller is much older than OS3.9 and does not support OS3.9 icons.
What you could try is to replace the dummy newicon.library of OS3.9 by the original lib from the NewIcons archive.

Tried that...it didn't work. As for Icon Installer not working, I cracked open the OS3.9 install from the disk and did a manual install for WinUAE. Icon Installer works fine under UAE, just not Amithlon...

Amithlon doesn't emulate the ECS/AGA chipset, maybe it's expecting something from them, so I guess the lack of any "real" chipmem could be a problem. Bit strange for a Worbench program tho...
If in anyway possible burn your WinUAE setup to CD, copy that over too your Amithlon install, see how much that screws up your setup... ;-)

Okay. I got it all fixed. I checked in the contribs on the AmithlonXL CD and found Copy Icon. It's pretty basic, but it gets the job done. :-D Thanks for all the help guys.
