Title: Howdy, New guy here.
Post by: Imperitus on March 17, 2006, 06:16:59 PM
Hi all. I was an amiga user way back in the day. And whiel I doubt I could go back to using an amiga, I'd love to capture the feel that my old amiga had with MUI and workbench...

So I thought I'd come in and see if anyone knew of any icon/desktop pattern packs put together for windows that are based off old amiga graphics.

If such a thing doesn't exist I'd behappy to help build one if someone with an amiga coudl send me screen shots.

I'm new to the forum. :)

And it's been so long since I've touched an amiga I might as well be new to them as well. (Not that I have one to use anyway, althought I do have a 100 case top with all the signatures on it. :) )

Hi,

Welcome to A.Org!

There appears to be an Amiga theme for Windows 95 (!) here (http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Bay/9704/?200618), but I've not tried it, and haven't seen the equivalent for XP...

Linux (and the Gnome / KDE environments) allow more in the way of theme customisation. You might have better luck there, such as this one (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=19814) for Gnome.
