Hi all,
I've just started an Amiga Demo (Video) Podcast. Primarily it is H.264, but there is also a DivX version of each demo available.
Currently on the first episode, which is "9 Fingers" by Spaceballs. Check it out and let me know what you think.
I hope to include a voting system, to vote for the next demo when I have more viewers.

Great idea! I was a bit young to get in to the demo scene on the Amiga, and have been wanting to have a look at some of the best. But with so many out there, it's hard to know which ones to go for. So a podcast of the best ones would be wicked :-)

Thanks, great idea.
Any chance of making the DivX versions the default for the podcast though? I don't think there is an Amiga player for H.264 (whatever that is ;-) ), but the DivX plays fine in mplayer.
Are you aware of the other Amiga podcast at http://www.ourmedia.org/og/feed/134555 ?

I'm hoping to setup a divx feed for it soon. H.264 has to be the default for iTunes as it is a better quality file.
But I'll get onto, sooner rather than later.

Absolutely Cracking Idea!

There is now a DivX feed available for anyone who wants to subscribe.

Thanks twilson, the DivX feed works perfectly with AmiPodder (http://www.amipodder.com) and MPlayer (http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=video/play/mplayer.lha) :-D

Your welcome, anything to help out a fellow Amiga user. It was something that had to be done anyway. I've got an extra 13 subscribers to DivX feed alone.
Total's at about 40-odd.

You can now vote for the next demo without having to register. Required registration was proving unsuccessful.

That was cool. I was never into the Demo scene but I've always loved the music.

You can subscribe through iTunes, just select the relevant URL minus the preceeding protocl (i.e. "http://", "feed://") and select the "Podcast" section in iTunes and then select "Subscribe to Podcast..." (maybe feed) from the "Advanced Menu" and put the URL to the feed in there.
