Title: PCMCIA ATA card...[SOLVED]
Post by: Nickman on March 13, 2006, 02:38:01 PM
Would it be possible to make this work in an A1200 ?

SanDisk PC Card ATA (http://www.synchrotech.com/products/ata-flash_02.html)

It shows up in Prepcard but it says it's write protected and an older version just say write error when i press prep card.

Information in prep card:
Device: I/O Device 250ns (700ns for the older one)
Information:
SanDisk
SDP
Version 4.1  5/3  0.6

Perhaps you should use an alternative .device (no suggestions..) and FAT95 from Aminet?

PrepCard is for SRAM (and PSRAM) cards only.  Try CFD it is your best bet getting it to work.  However, you won't be able to directly boot from the card.
