Title: Amiga 3000 Screws?
Post by: Kernel on March 13, 2006, 04:11:31 AM
As the heads of all of them are stripped on my machine, does anyone know the size of the screws used for the rear of the A3000 and floppy/hard drive cradles?

I know I could probably take one into the local hardware shop and do some basic searching, but if someone has already done so, there't no need to reinvent the wheel :)

Thanks.

I didn't know there were 2 different ones used... which goes to which?  Mine all look the same.

The case screws are #8-32.

The #6-32 are sometimes used for mounting Hard drives, floppies, and other misc items.

Thanks for the info!  My A3000 came with no exterior case screws!  Perhaps I can finally get that case together!
