Title: A3000 Graphics Artifacts
Post by: Kernel on March 11, 2006, 06:13:00 PM
I have an A3K that is showing graphical artifacts - almost like interference - on the built-in flicker fixer interface.  I haven't tried it on an RGB or composite monitor though.

Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

I'd guess either battery damage or a mis-tuned potentiometer for the flickerfixer.

at the left of ff switch is a small hole. with a thin plastic tuning screwdriver you can tune the ff if it's need to do it.

Is there a specific tool I can purchase, or is this a "do with what you have" type of thing?

Never mind - I used a small craftsman flathead and though not the perfect tool, it worked like a charm.  No more artifacts.

Thanks!
