Wow!

I don't think "amazing" quite covers that!

I thought I was bad, but it makes me look quite sane in comparison!

I didn't go through all of the stuff because it was mindboggling.

Collectors really should get enclosed storage racks. Imagine trying to dust that lot, not to mention cricking your neck trying to read all the horizontal spines mounted vertically!

:-)

That kid is going to grow up with attention deficit disorder too...

why??!! i don't get it.

i have two Amiga 1200's, for practical reasons....basically they are becomming difficult to find so it's good to have a spare locked away. But fgs...how many Genesis consoles did that guy have!? not to mention all those games, you couldnt play all those in one life-time! :)

Can someone tell me WHY? because that's the first question that popped into my mind when viewing those pics :)))

For the sake of creating a museum, this would be a really nice effort. For the sake of being a private collection, I don't see the point. I don't know what this is so I can't say much about it.

Well I could understand him trying to buy all the products Microsoft ever made so as to rid humanity of this curse... but buying all the other stuff in duplicate suggests to me he was a squirrel in a former life.

I bet he was looking in collecting threads where people boost their personal collection of all consoles released. Like they have two versions of every pokemon game, one opened and one sealed. He said to himself, hell I can do that and did it...     :-)

I had a friend that did this with DVD's. Why? I never understood. If you take care of your stuff they will last, if one breaks, buy a new one.

Well just a thought here but if you buy two and keep one sealed, people will pay a much higher price when they become rare for the sealed one.

Sometimes the collectable price for the sealed one when sold could pay for the original...

Although most collectors will probably not sell the sealed one and just horde it.

A lot of Japanese collectors even keep the registartion cards, warranty leaflet, promotional inserts and the spine card that falls out when you rip the cellophane off!

Like a black hole the collectors sucked in everything around them until the only thing left to collect was the very bandwidth with which they conveyed their evil greed!

(Wouldn't that make a great trailer voiceover!)

:-D
