Title: Red Screen
Post by: foleyjo on March 09, 2006, 01:05:55 AM
Ive just been reading the faqs and it says if you get a red screen on boot up it means theres a problem with the roms.
Occasionally when I reset my Amiga (when it locks up or acts funny) with AACTRL it flashes a red screen at me!!
Is this the same problem do I need to fiddle my roms?? Or is this something I can ignore

If you have an accelerator with enabled MapROM facility (or use a program like CyberMAP, BlizKick etc.) it is not a problem with the ROMs but rather with the copy of it in RAM. Don't worry, just make a cold reboot (if the accelerator is from Phase5/DCE hold down Ctrl-A-A longer than 6 seconds).

Bye,
Thomas
