Post by: foleyjo on March 06, 2006, 11:10:45 PM
Anyone know how I can get this to work when I have a viper 060 card installed??

Update to that question
Ive taken the card out and it brings up the same error.

Well when I got a SCSI-IV kit for my Blizzard 1260 I read that the 3.1 ROMs would increase boot time by 10s. This was because the newer ROM would scan all buses and wait longer for the IDE interface to respond (slow spinup drives).

So it's possible the ROM is causing a conflict but I doubt it's something you couldn't patch.

What is Dawn Patrol anyway? Do you have a 68881/68882 to '060 program like Cyberpatcher/Oxypatcher?

Dawn Patrol is a WWI flight sim by Rowan, the same folks who made the rather excellent Reach for the Skies. Perhaps there's a WHDLoad installer for it?

I have nsa-patcher if thats the same thing!! If not no I dont have one. Where do I get one and what do they do? (in lamens/idiot terms)

Ive checked for whdload but couldnt find one. I did manage to find one for Overlord which has the same errors as Dawn Patrol. (Probably use the same engine)!!

Yeah Ive tried a few degrading packages. I guess the only option is to post a request for a whdload for it on whdload.de
