Hi,
i was trying to connect a new Delfina Flipper to A1200 but still no luck getting the machine to boot after cable is connected.
With Blizzard1260 i can see the rainbow colors on the screen and nothing happens, after couple of seconds the colors appear again (and again).
With Blizzard disconnected, Miggy boots up the workbench screen, but freezes before refreshes the bacdrop image.
Any ideas how to get around it?

are you sure that the cable is connected right? i install a subway usb 3 weeks ago in the clock port and in the instructions to fit it ok it was clear that any wrong connection can damage the subway or even the amiga.

My best gues is that your delfina card is broken. I have had 2 differnt cards in two different revisions of amiga 1200 mobos both fine . Problems i used to have was choppy sound but turned out to be a -5 or -12 volt issue not the card it self. I have read about people in the amiga comunity that inserted the clockport cable the wrong way around something that fried the delfina card.
I realy hope i am wrong but the odds are there.

I too had problems connecting the delfina flipper to my X-SurfII.
After much discussion with support, I resolved that it wouldn't work. I chalked it up to my A3000D power supply not able to supply enough power to it.
I wound up sending it back for a refund.
Yes, the cable was hooked up properly to the clockport.

Have 300W PSU, and cable should be connected properly (checked many times, remember reading about toasted Delfinas and cables).

I had the same problem with my delfina a while ago, and I mailed jens about it. Seems like there was some compatibility problems with the Blizzard1260 and the delfina, and I had to remove two capacitors from the delfina-card. After that the machine booted fine with the delfina connected.

So far the story. Removed those 2 capacitors from the backside of Delfina and machine booted u without a problem.
AHI sound test was kinda choppy, but with Quake thru AHI the sound was perfect.
Next boot was'nt successful. And many after that. So i went on and used DelfInit to initialize the card and it worked.
Next step was trying to get Delfina DSP to play mp3-s without CPU. DelfinaMPEG, AMPlifier and AmigaAMP all were clipping like hell. So i tried different versions of delfina.library.
With most of them i was unable to boot up the machine.
But no luck with hardware mp3 decoding.
And Paula plays mp3s without any problem with AmigaAMP.
After long hours of experimenting i'm unable to get Quake running, freezes before entering the main menu.
So i gave up for this night.
Forgot to mention, i'm using latest AHI. (6.0?).
Tomorrow i'm going to give it a try with some older AHI version.

Me too. I cannot boot the amiga with delfina and M1230 XA accelerator connected. Yellow screen.
