Title: Looking for Manual
Post by: irishmike on February 27, 2006, 06:52:18 PM
Hello:

Not sure this belongs in this forum, but it looked close.

As I am sure a lot of you are aware from my former postings, I have just bought an A3000 and I would like to obtain a copy of the manual that should have come with it when it was new.  If you have a 3000 manual and would consider sharing via making a PDF for me or just have it and would consider sending it to me I would appreciate it. (Obviously the latter case would assume you no longer need it)

Thanks,

Mike

The manual is about 3,5mb in size, so I uploaded it to:
www.brfpyramiden.se/lgh119/a3000.pdf

Complete with bookmarks, and everything.. It took a while to scan.. :-)

Edit: Hmm.. In order to be totally legal in matters such as this, who would you actually ask for permission to copy these manuals? Is it the new owners of the Commodore brand which also own all copyrights like these?

Cool, thanks for that - I have no manual with my A3000 either!

 - Ali

EDIT: you've done a good job of that, must have taken ages!

Yes, it did take me a while, but a couple of pages every day and after a while I was done.. :)

I rescanned several pages because I thought they didnt look good enough the first time round.. No sense in doing a job half-done, you might as well go all the way and make it look good for those who are going to read it..

Enjoy!  :-)

Always happy to help out.. :-)

I have the OS2 documentation (the gigantic binder) which was supplied with the A3000 as well.. I have been thinking about scanning that one too, but have been discouraged by the amount of pages.. But if someone is interested, I guess I could start working on that one too.. :-)

Dont forget the "A3000 Quick Connect" guide... Youre gonna need a big scanner for that one ;)
