Im formatting a disk in workbench. I must name it 'DSAVE' (for the game it came from the desert.. the save disk must be called DSAVE'. Anyway when i go to rename it in workbench when I press one key on the key board the letter comes out many many many times!
example. if I want to type 'D' and I lightly press my D on the keyboard, the result is something like 'DDDDDDDDDDDDDD'.
Any help ? Thanks :)

@Fritz_
Reduce the key repeat speed in prefs?

at the moment im using the latest version of winuae. I cant find a preferences tab/section anywhere in it.. :(

Piru is referring to the Input prefs (found in Workbench:Prefs folder), not Winuae prefs. In the Input prefs, you'll see the Key Repeat Delay and Key Repeat Rate. Those might be set incorrectly. (I have mine 30 for delay, 100 for rate)
If these settings are OK, then it's probably some software you're running that is causing it. For example, many AMOS programs don't reset the keyboard settings and after running them you end up with something like thissssssssssssssssssssssss.
