Title: which file manager under wb1.3?

which one? and how do you make a bootable disk?

Filemaster 2.2, and you cyn make bootable floppy with it too, its under "Install" button

I used to like a lot DirWork 2... I think it also has an install function

in any case you can create a bootable floppy by booting into workbench 1.3, starting up Shell or CLi and typing "install DF0:"

IIRC there is INSTALL command present in both managers.

for me diskmaster v1.3 is the best option, it's like dopus but with less tools and options. climate it's not bad but a bit primitive
