I got a copy of Amiga Forever 6.0 because CrossDos won't do what I want for writing ADF's on my a500.
I was told that Amiga Explorer could set up a connection via Serial to my PC with out a terminal program somehow. How do I do it? I'm sitting here ready to go nuts!

Just get a null modem cable and hook it up to the pc and amiga. Install amigaexplorer on the pc/windows side and follow the instructions on the screen. Basicly all you need to do is to boot workbench and maybe set the serial speed in preferences.

Ok, I've gotten all of that done and copied the file to ram.
The error message I get whne I try to execute the Amiga side setup is
Unable to Load Setup: file is not an object module.
And that's it.

I think the Amiga Forever software comes with a program called transdisk that will you will need to copy over to your real amiga via the nullmodem/amiga explorer program.
You will then need to run it and copy the ADF image to a floppy disk.
Check the docs that came with Amiga Forever.

I never experienced that problem.. But did you select the right kickstart/workbench when it asked you?? If you have wb1.3 and selected 2.x, then you probably would experience something problem like that.
Sorry that i cannot be of more help.
