Well, I have spent a long time here now. Sometimes I have an occasional eBay rant and you are all well to put up with it:-)
Today my A4000T arrived carefully packed from the perfect seller. I couldn't be more pleased. This was the missing part of my collection! Proud new father:-D. It is a Quickpack unit. It started right up! The plastic is undamaged and not yellow! The case only has a couple dirty spots and a few scratches. Does anyone have any cleaning suggestions?
I can't decide if I should put my CS-MKIII 060 in it yet (it would mean removing it from another Amiga) or just watch out for a Warp Engine. It has a 3640 in it now.
I am about to go install either the CV64/SD or Picasso IV in it tonight and check out the video clips still on the Flyer drives. Thank You John!

Glad you are happy with it. He he he.

The only thing better then an A4000D running the Flyer system is an A4000T running a Flyer system. Im Jellous 8-)

Yeah put some pictures of it up in the Gallery sometime. I still kinda am in awe when I see our library's one. I might one day get an offical C= Amiga 4000T, but for the time being I'm going to work on my Biance Neve tower.

Sorry, forgot the link. I caught it within minutes of it going up I think. I'll put the auction picture up for now until I clean it up and take some.

Wow, you snatched that one up at a better price then I've seen a lot of people get theres. I mean a lot better. I could go on and ramble though.

Hey that was a Great! price. I would love to find one for that price. even a 4000T without the flyer. 8-)

Yeah thats about how much I spent for my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128Meg when it first came out (just about anyways.) If I would have known that it would have took a crap on me, then I would have just stuck with the just as equally expensive at the time MSI GeForce Ti 4600 that I got, and would have got me a Amiga 4000T (like there were any on the market at the price)

I can't tell you how long I have wanted one! My A3000T is still in the shipping box. They will look good together! The new A4000T used to belong to TWA Airlines. There are still some clips on the Flyer Drives. I need to get a Video card in it to watch then though.
Off to the basement to find the Cybervision 64/3D/SD I have somewhere :-o

Okay, off you go. Tell me if you happen to find a spare Picasso IV down there

Great price is the understatement of the year! Congrats.

Damn you!!!!! :P Congrats.

double post, sorry :(

Speaking as someone who knows an incredible deal when he sees it, I only need ask myself: "What the hell was I doing on Feb. 4th?" Lucky man you! Just glad you got it rather than one of the chop-shop ebay resellers ;)
Oh well, congratulations and keep that baby running.
That's a dream price! :-D

I must say if I had known about that unit I would have bought it just for spares. That's the best Amiga deal I have seen so far!

I thought this was going to be another dismal postal service story, arriving some 12 years late ...
Nice bit of classic hardware that, I'd have loved one back in the day.
