Post by: bomrat on February 09, 2006, 03:47:46 PM
hi, i am getting back into amiga for fun...  i have an a2000 and now an a4000 also.  as soon as i get onto my a4000 i will be retiring my a2000.  just too many computers at home and not enough hands and time.  i live in the chicago area and would like to find a user group around here.

Ahh, you might wanna keep your Amiga 2000 if later on you will want to play with Video Toasters and other neat little things.  Granted you will need a Amiga 4000 to properly use a Video Toaster 4000 and Flyer, but it will still work in a limited way in your 2000.

Besides a lot of the cards out there were Zorro II cards and work perfectly in there.  I know I'm keeping mine because the Amiga 2000 has more room in it then the Amiga 4000's I have..

The golden rule with Amigas is simple: never ever sell one, or you'll only regret it afterwards!  :-)

Well I'm kinda glad that someone sold there Amigas or I wouldn't have two wonderful AGA machines, a nice Big Box Amiga, and a soon to be All powerful tower.

I'm even in the works right now to help some guy with moving some stuff, and he is going to look for his old A1200 and 1000 as payment for me.  If he can't find them, cash will suffice as I need that more then more Amigas.
