Title: Amiga 3000 -- Is this a good deal?

$125 for this:

Amiga 3000 with 18 megs of ram ( 16 fast ram and 2 chip ram )
50 meg system HD
Keyboard
Amiga mouse
2.1 System software and all books included.
No battery damage

Is this a good deal? The only thing wrong with it is the bezel, keyboard and mouse have a custom paint job.

It's not bad but $100 would be better.  ;-)

Seriously, it is a good offer.  If you are serious, go ahead and get the 3000.  Just be sure to R/R the battery as soon as the computer is yours.

I can probably try to swing $100. I said $125 shipped, but if I pick it up, I can drop it lower.

I really wanted a monitor for my a500, but this ended up falling in my lap.

Was that the custom paint job A3000 that was on Ebay ?

I did not bid on it because I figured that it would be difficult to repaint the bezel, keyboard and mouse with some kind of off white color.

I think it's a good deal.  Certainly people pay a lot more, for less functionality.
