Hi I have an A4k and KS3.0 What is the largest HD and partitions I can use with PFS2 ? Either IDE or SCSI. Sorry for short post, but written from bed on PSP

I don't know about IDE but for SCSI, PFS2 version 4.2 supports partitions up to 104GB using direct-scsi or TD64. Maximum harddisk size is said to be unlimited but HDToolbox displays wrong values for drives over 4GB. This page on using big disks with PFS2 (http://www.harden.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/pfs/setup/130-big-disks.html) may help.
Some tips:
· Upgrade to the latest version possible. PFS3 is better than PFS2. If staying with PFS2, use the latest upgrade patch you can find.
· Read Mark Harden's invaluable PFS2 FAQ (http://www.harden.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/pfs/index.htm).
· Take care when setting the mask. PFS seems to be quite sensitive to it.
· Use check4gb from Aminet
