Title: Name the game again

Hi, I've been trying to remember an old game, which I recall playing on a friend's 500 way back then, long before I had my own miggy.  It was a jet fighter game, with pretty simple polygon graphics.  Maybe simple 3D vector graphics?  I recall it was always a dog fight between two jets, either one player vs. computer, or two player, with the screen split into two horizontal bands.  The jets fired large ball shaped projectiles, which I think had a slow velocity and parabolic drop-off arc.  The projectiles may have been boing balls, but I can't clearly recall.  At least I think the colour scheme was predominantly orange/red and white.  I recall the game play against the computer as being just OK, but it was a lot of fun blowing up your friends.  I think there was basically no scenery, just some sort of plane (maybe red and white checkered) to represent the ground.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?  My local miggy friends don't recall this game at all.

edit- I think I've answered my own question.  Think the game is SkyChase, although it's not quite how I remembered it.  Maybe there was another similar game, but more likely it's just my memory failing.  Anyway, it was a fun game.  Will have to coax some firneds into playing...

Ahhh, sweet delusion.  The older I get, the better it was.
