After performing the modifications listed on http://members.iinet.net.au/~davem2/overclock/a3640.html I am pleased to report my A4000D is now running flawlessly at 33MHz! Using a rev 3.0 A3640, the original 25MHz CPU. A fan, of course, has always been attached, and still keeps things nice and cool. I managed to attain 28MHz without the delay line mod, but decided what the hell and went for it... Made the mod, popped in a 66.666MHz oscillator... BINGO!
I'm just so psyched, I thought I'd share my success with yawl. :hat:

Benchmarks? (Before and after please!)

Don't have before benchmarks, didn't think about it at the time. Tho I can toss in my 50MHz xtal...
Installed an IDE drive in place of my Compact Flash drive, so I had to reinstall everything. Benchmarks forthcomming.
