Title: VideoMaster AGA for A600 and A1200 for SALE! RARE!
Post by: leirbag28 on February 05, 2006, 05:01:25 AM

This is a cool and rare device that plugs into the PCMCIA port of the A600 and A1200.....not usre why they added the AGA as its not much diffferent than the A500 version.

Read the ad.........DONT misunderstand the WEBCAM comment, as I am not saying this is for Webcam.....but the type of output is similar.but in Black and white.

I will regret selling this....but havent ben using it.

I think it actualy is possible to use it as a webcam with the right Software.Maybe VHI studio?

Anyway.its for sale. USA only!

Big Book of Amiga Hardware: Videomaster (http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=305)

Video is 160 x 100, 16 grey levels... Or does the AGA bit mean higher resolution? Or maybe HAM8 for the still grab?

hmmm, maybe.it does claim to capture higher resolution Images and in color........may require anther device to capture color.

But I wouldnt use that feature on this...what for when we have Digicams..but as far as easy little Videos with sound?   ahhhh perfect!
