Title: Cybervision scandoubler question
Post by: binjinx on January 28, 2006, 10:17:28 AM
Anyone that has, had, or played with a cybervision 64 AND scandoubler setup curious question, if the scandoubler fits in the video slot whats the external port for on just the scandoubler card (is it input from RGB port (but why if in the card goes into the video slot)or is it a output for 15khz but why bother since can pull off RGB port)asking cause i'd like to attempt the following.

One Monitor Setup config (RGB running thru a toastscan into CV64+SD (toastscan not purchased yet, since not sure if CV+SD card will do this, if so will purchase  :-D then)trying to get my old a2k on a kvm so i dont think a auto monitor switcher will work (nor does a KVM support lower khz freq.)

Or if anyone knows i can tap the 10 pin link-interface port on the CV64 card with the scandoubled RGB output?

Otherwise i'd hate to run a rig'd-slop setup (thinking LCD with AV hookup but KVM might not function without monitor feed)

You can define by jumper if you want to have the "mixed" CV3D/Scandoubleroutput going out of the scandoublermonitorport or the CV3D Monitorport. You can also set is to display RTG-Screen only on the CV3D port and PAL-screens only on the scandoublerport.

There is no way you can feed anythin into the CV3D or the scandoubler unless you are a technican that is able to redesign the card.
