Hello All,
Is this common problem with A3000 desktops machines the leds not work after while.If I had one machine leds not working yeah I would say there blown or cold solder joints
but 2 and (1 had better days) machines in top contition they are all connected to the motherboard so what could be wrong?I have tested both leds with 1.5 volt battery and they all work fine.
I would like to hear your comments on this.Thanks in advance Merv

Did you check the LEDs 'directly' or through the connector that attaches to the system board? I've had three A3000s where the contacts on that tiny LED circuit board gave way, and had to resolder the LEDs and the wires to get them working again.
Best of Luck...

@amiga1084:
Yes, it is a common problem - the leds touch the case each time you close it and if you arent careful, either the leds solders will give up or the little circuitboard itself will break.
So, this makes your problem sound very wierd :D. Sorry to not be of more help.
