I just installed the CD drivers from copying the
OS3.9CD over to the HDD, installing it (In UAE) and my CD drive says
"CD0:Uninitialized"
Heeeelp!
(Please!)
-
Load devs:dosdrivers/cd0 into a text editor and change it to read
device = uaescsi.device
unit = 0
Bye,
Thomas

My apologies - I should have been a little clearer..
The OS is booting under a real A1200, I installed the CDROM app from within UAE via copying the installation CD to my Amiga HDD.
-
Can you post the contents of your CD0 mountlist?

Thanks for the replies, I've been out of the Amiga scene for far too long and I used to know all of this.
Is it... Click on CD0 in devs/DOSdrivers then "Information"?
God, I feel like such a bloody newbie, I should have never left in the first place - Damn you, Windows.

Then load devs:dosdrivers/cd0 into a text editor and change it to match your configuration
device =
unit =
Currently it points to your HDD which obviously is not a proper CD.

No. If I say "load it into a text editor" I mean "load it into a text editor" and not "change its icon properties".
You might drop the CD0 icon over the EditPad icon in AmiDock. This will load it into EditPad.

FileSystem=L:CacheCDFS
Device="scsi.device"
Unit=0
The CDROM is on the slave setting on the A1200s internal IDE port.
-
Change the unit to 1. Unit 0 refers to the master device (your hard drive).
