Title: how large of a harddrive?

how large of a scsi drive can i use in my 2000 with 2.x rom??

Depends on the SCSI controller. May be 2GB, may be 4Gb, may be more. Which SCSI controller do you have ?

2-4 i thing but for safety make partitions no more that 512mb each

Make SURE you get at least V6.6 ROMs (V7.0 are the best)in the 2091 or you will have problems.
And, if you use the Amiga's FFS, make sure it's a 64bit version. All sould work OK with these points taken care of.
