Title: 3.9 Fresh Install Question....

I currently have 3.5 installed and I wanted to just reformat the HD and install 3.9.  Can I just do a HD Prep and erase everything... then boot from the 3.9 CD?  or do I need to make somekind of a boot disk?

With OS 3.9 you need to make the boot disk first.  Then you can format and reinstall.

Actually, you can do it without A boot disk. but you need to have a previous OS installed w/cd driver.

I've only installed the OS from floppies so I just wanted to double check!
