Title: Shogo: MAD
Post by: Robert17 on January 17, 2006, 06:37:45 PM
Hey all, I played the demo of this I found on an old coverdisk, it was very jerky/slow but great fun nonetheless. If anyone has the full and/or updated version, how fast does it run?

I have CyberstormPPC 233, 128mb ram and a CybervisionPPC card.

Thanks,

Robert

I've got the demo version aswell, and its abit jerky too on my setup. the only games I got working without any jerkyness was nightlong and freespace but saying that i did suffer alittle slowdown on the menu screen of freespace

The menu of Freespace is always slow, it gets better with the updates but is always slow, worse on Voodoo cards too.

Have Shogo here but it just freezes my A4000 when the first level starts but the demo works here but it's very sluggish as soon as there's alot of action on the screen as explosions etc
Have ran it in both 640x480 & 800x600

If you want to run it halfway smoothly try a resolution beween 640x480 and 320x240. In 480x360 it runs wonderfull but looks a little bit ugly. 512x384 is a good compromise beween speed and graphicsquality. I ran it on an A4000T 060/200 CVisionPPC. Haven`t had the time to test my G-rex4000T yet.
