Title: Error when starting Real3Dv2
Post by: Imerion on January 15, 2006, 07:52:06 PM
When I bought my A4000 used there were a few programs on it.  The system had been used in a school for video-editing.
One of the programs it had was Real3Dv2. So I though it would be interesting to try it out, but I get this error message when I try to run it:

"Error!
v2:depend/real.c 286
Dongle not present".

Any idea what the error is and what I can do to make the program run?

Yeah it means that you don't have the dongle inserted!!

The dongle is a peice of hardware that has to be connected to the joystick port usually. It's a copy protection.

Oh, never heard of that one before. Then Ill check the hardware that came with it and see if I can find it. Thanks for the help.
