HI All,
I recently downloaded the openssh port for amiga from amiga.sf and was all excited. I spent the time extracting it, and installing the newest ixemul, only to find that when I tried to run sshd, it said "sshd isn't working on amiga m68k"!!!
I wish they had said that b4 I downloaded... or somewhere in the documentation. LOL
Does anyone out there have sshd running or is telnet the only solution out there?

Hi,
Does this (http://www.chernoff.org/amiga/) work? Just about to try the included SSH client as I don't have a need to run the daemon portion on my Amiga...

i also have a real odyssey behind me, getting ssh to work. there are a lot of outdated versions and docs out there to get it work, but afaik there is only one way that really works.
you have to install the geekgadgets:
http://ftp.back2roots.org/geekgadgets/amiga/m68k/snapshots/980523/bin/
for installation instructions see:
http://ftp.back2roots.org/geekgadgets/docs/INSTALL
and then get openssh package from http://amiga.sf.net
important: do NOT install the newest ixemul library from amiga.sf.net, it segfaults immediately on curses based applications, leave the version from back2roots.org
