Title: When is the next shipment of A1XE-boards to Gunne/Datakompaniet?
Post by: Helgis75 on April 11, 2003, 08:50:36 AM
Anybody who knows when the next shipment of A1XE-boards to Gunne will be? I would really like to know that. :-)

I will be very happy for any serious answers. :-)

Happy Easter everyone!  :-)

Cos he and Alan are probraly the only ones in the know
while everybody else is just guessing.

Surprise Surprise, its Kronos ! :-P

I asked Alan, the boards are on their way from Taiwan.

Dealers and Mobo only orderers (as opposed to full system orderers) will be dealt with 1st, from enough boards to cover the order book.

I followed the advice and mailed Gunne just right away, asking about the second shipment. I should get a mail from him about not too long. We'll see, but i guess i don't have to wait quite long anymore. I'm pretty sure right after Easter, just to be realistic.

Anyway, it's good, and the OS4 isn't far off either! Not to long, considering a mail i got from Fleecy today. :-)

Great stuffs! Happy Easter!

"Dealers and Mobo only orderers (as opposed to full system orderers) will be dealt with 1st"

I hope this isn't true :(
I have repeatedly been told by Eyetech that systems will have the same priority as boards alone - Alan Redhouse said in his latest announcement that orders would be dispatched strictly in chronological order.

@Helgis

Email from fleecy ?
And how much is that worth when he isn't even in the position
to answer simple questions about OS4 in a straight manner
(see 10-weekly-PR-stunts) ?

And even if it was to be released sometimes after easter, it
would still be the CS-PPC-version, which is of little use for you.

Yes he deserves that. He's a full time supporter of the cause :-)

dunno then. I presume that is since they decided (rightly too) to get the QA done in one fell swoop in Taiwan - and building systems takes longer than packaging boards !

Just my opinion though...  :-D

(good news for me- I went for the DIY option !)

So, you'll have all that J17 7451=1-on, 2-off, 3-on, 4-off
and reset to JP18
fun?
