Title: Amiga 3000 UX on E-bay
Post by: brianjax on January 09, 2006, 02:11:41 PM
In the last couple of month I think I recall that people in here have asked about this machine, like where to buy. I just found this link. I have nothing to do with the e-buyer. (You guys have probably already seen it)

Amiga 3000UX on E-bay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Amiga-3000-UX-Rare-UX-edition-16M-Ram-250MB-HD_W0QQitemZ8748376732QQcategoryZ4598QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

That's all very nice but a 3000UX is merely a 3000D with a 3000UX badge and a tape drive.

Didn't it also come with a fancy three-button version of the A3000 "pregnant" mouse? I remember looking long and hard years ago for someone to part with one separately. No big deal now, of course, since there are adapters available for modern mice.

Yep. There's not much else unique about it. If you do not have the tape drive or the Amix tape then it is a 3000D.

Tape drive was an option.  Tape was always included.

Really useful to ship you AMIX w/o the tape drive.

Did not know that the machine was a regular DD.
